Hello and welcome!

I started Fair Isle Floral in 2023 after a friend of a friend asked me to do the flowers for her intimate beach wedding. On that beach, constructing what I would later learn is a ‘ground arch’ of driftwood, beach stones, feathertop grasses, whirling butterflies guara, and echinacea, I realized I’d never been happier. I’d been farming flowers for a few years and knew I loved that work- the pace of the day, the rewards of the week, the march of the seasons- but didn’t even realize how much designing with the flowers you’ve grown bursts your heart and mind open.

It is my goal and nature to bring my clients the best of the season- which ever their event falls in. Maine flower growers are not messing around- we’re all so lucky to be here, now, to appreciate and celebrate the volume, variety, and quality of local flowers available.

Finally, and very excitedly, this fall Fair Isle Floral adds ‘Field’ to it’s name, as I’ll be planting and harvesting from my own garden next spring.
